Joe Sibilia

Investigator in Training. Joe was born and raised in Southern New York State, just north of NYC. He has a degree in Engineering, is a dedicated and loving husband and father. He also is a man of faith and strong belief in God. He also has a passion for the unknown and the paranormal. Joe works with Jack Kenna in engineering for the Department of the Army, and this is how Joe came to be first involved with the team. Joe has had paranormal experiences of his own and first spent time discussing them with Jack during lunch at work. After a time Jack asked Joe if he would be interested in reviewing some audio from a case SPIRITS was working on, and Joe jumped at the chance, he came back within a couple days to Jack with some possible evps. What Joe was not aware of is that Jack had already reviewed the audio himself before giving it to him. This was Joe's first test by the team. Jack was amazed to find Joe had hit on all of the same significant evps that he himself had found, as well as some of the other questionable ones that Jack himself had tossed out due to their lack of clarity. Joe also mentioned this in his report to Jack. Jack then gave him more to review and again Joe came back in a timely fashion with his findings, and a few quality evps. After that Jack and the team invited Joe to investigate the old Salem, NY jail with them, where Joe and the team had numerous experiences and captured some high quality evidence. It was after this investigation in September 2017 that Joe was offered a spot on the team as an "Investigator in Training", which he gladly accepted. Joe's first residential investigation with SPIRITS took place on 21 July 2018 in Brooklyn, NY.

Although she had the “gift” as a young girl, she started her spiritual journey as a young adult, working with a spiritual advisor where she was able to start connecting to “spirit” on a more personal level. On a chance visit to Gettysburg Pennsylvania she encountered a lost soul at the Gettysburg Orphanage where a young boy who had passed there reached out to her and it was so emotional for her that she knew it was time for her healing journey to start to help people connect with loved ones and to do her natural calling.

In 2010, she starred in a reality TV show pilot called "Biker Chicz" based on her motorcycle organization the "East Coast – West Coast – Gulf Coast Biker Chicks" in which she was the Founder and National President holding that position for 13 years from 2003 to 2013. This was driven by the fact that his mother had many experiences of her own which she often relayed to him.  The home he grew up in and now raises his family in also helped to peak his interest in the paranormal, in addition to his wife and their seven children it is also home to what he refers to as a friendly spirit, which seems to keep an eye out for the family.  In more recent years his interest in the paranormal was rekindled by the TV series Ghost Hunters and the scientific investigation methods utilized by TAPS. These methods are very similar to the type of engineering and scientific methods that Jack has been using on a daily basis for the past thirty plus years in his career as a Senior Engineering Technician and project leader for the Department of the Army. Beyond his technical expertise for the Army, Jack brings to the SPIRITS team his video and audio skills from 6 years of running his own part-time videography business, as well as his computer and website design skills from 7 years of running his own part-time computer repair, training and web design business. The experience did leave Beck a stronger person though and a person that is loving, caring and dedicated to her family and the ones she loves, especially Sarah and Ellen. Beck has a unique talent for being able to connect with clients who believe they are experiencing something paranormal and comforting them with the fact that they are not alone and not crazy, having experienced the paranormal first hand, Beck knows for a fact that the paranormal does exist, and that the fear that some people experience when confronted with it is very real as well.
