Below is a list and short description (where appropriate) of the basic equipment we use in our investigations.
| Mini-DV Camcorder with Nightshot - Camcorder with IR capability for documenting the investigation and to attempt to capture potential paranormal activity. Sony CyberShot with Nightshot - Digital camera with Photo and Video IR capability for documenting the investigation and to attempt to capture potential paranormal activity. Sony and Sima IR Lights - To increase IR nightshot viewing range of Mini-DV and CyberShot video recorders. Olympus Digital Audio Recorders - To record all investigations and client interviews, and to attempt to capture Electronic Voice Phenomena (EVP). |
Digital Cameras and Tripods - For establishing baseline photos of the home, business, etc. being investigated and to attempt to capture possible paranormal activity.
Lutron EMF-822A Field Tester - To establish baseline EMF levels in the home, business, etc. prior to the investigation and to detect any anomolies in the EM Field during the investigation that may indicate possible paranormal activity.
MelMeter 8704 - To establish baseline EMF and temperature readings in the home, business, etc. prior to the investigation and to detect any anomolies in the EM Field and temperature during the investigation that may indicate possible paranormal activity.
KII EMF Meters - Used during investigations to identify potential sources of high EMF in the electrical wiring, appliances, etc., that may be the cause of a clients feelings of nausea, headaches, and possibly even hallucinations. It is also used to detect possible paranormal activity and to attempt direct communication with human spirits, paranormal entities, inhuman spirits, etc..
4 Cahnnel DVR Security System W/TV Monitor - To monitor and record up to 4 rooms in real-time during an investigation in order to document the investigation and to capture any possible paranormal activity.
WavePad Sound Editor Software - To review and analyze all investigation audio files for potential EVPs and other possible audio evidence of paranormal activity.
VideoPad Video Editor Software - To review and analyze all investigation video files for potential evidence of paranormal activity.
Two-Way Radios (Walkie Talkies) - To maintain contact with all members of the team during an investigation.
Shadow Detecting Laser Beam - To Help detect shadow movement during investigations.
